Electorate funding overview

Since the 2019 election, the Federal Government has spent an extra $297,023,760 in funding on projects and programs throughout the electorate.

ALBURY

From a Volunteer Grant for the Albury Women’s Shed, funding through the Local Schools Community Fund to Aspect Riverina, or the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $21,025,595 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Albury City Council area.

BALRANALD

From an upgrade to Leslie Drive in Euston, new change rooms and spectator facilities at Greenham Park, to a new Community Kitchen at Clare Public School, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $12,876,090 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Balranald Council area.

BERRIGAN

Whether it was helping out the Finley Show Society after the 2020 Show was cancelled, upgrades to the Newell Highway as part of our Safer Roads Program or new fencing at the Tocumwal Aerodrome, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $16,634,810 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Berrigan Shire.

CARRATHOOL

Mobile blackspot funds to build a new phone tower at Moora Farm, solar panels for the Hillston Library or new digital equipment for the students at Rankins Springs Public School, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $28,562,121 in funding on projects and programs across the Carrathool Shire.

EDWARD RIVER

From a new PA system at the Deniliquin outdoor pool, helping redevelop the town’s Edward River foreshore or the hospital emergency department upgrade, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $20,448,475 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Edward River area.

FEDERATION

Whether it’s a new shade sail structure at Boree Creek’s Tim Fischer Park, helping Corowa Golf Club cut their energy bill, or security fencing and CCTV at St Mary’s School, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $23,099,087 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Federation Council area.

GREATER HUME

Funding for the new Henty railway crossing, to fire recovery works around Jingellic and the Upper Murray region and a new phone tower for Lankeys Creek, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $29,809,069 in funding on projects and programs throughout Greater Hume Council.

 

GRIFFITH

Whether it is backing for a new radiotherapy/oncology unit, solar panels to help Griffith’s Aero Club save on their power bill or a new levee bank to better protect Yoogali from flooding, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $44,348,816 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Griffith City Council area.

HAY

Local funding includes support for the Rainbow on the Plains Festival, re-sheeting for Hay’s airport runway and a volunteer grant to help out the First Scouts Group…since the 2019 election, the Federal Government has committed an extra $9,862,251 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Hay Shire Council area.

 

LEETON

From money to help refurbish the golf course clubhouse, a volunteer grant for Leeton Public School’s P&C or helping build a the new grandstand at the Showgrounds, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra $10,063,015 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Leeton Shire Council area

 

MURRAY RIVER

With major funding to replace both the Swan Hill-Murray Downs and Echuca-Moama bridges, grants have also helped put shade sails over the playground at Mathoura Public School and redevelop the Barham foreshore. In fact, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has spent an extra $28,871,955 on projects and programs throughout the Murray River Council area.

 

 

MURRUMBIDGEE

Providing money to put an undercover bus shelter outside Coleambally’s Central School, helping build a new outdoor play space at Jerilderie Pre-School, through to new mobile broadband connectivity along the Newell Highway & Kidman Way, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has committed an extra  $14,706,145 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Murrumbidgee Council area.

 

 

NARRANDERA

From environment funding for local Landcare, helping Barellan’s Show Committee cover the costs for their cancelled 2020 event, to a new digital scoreboard at the Narrandera Sportsground, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has spent an extra $21,057,863 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Narrandera Council region.

 

WENTWORTH

Helping rebuild Wentworth’s Long Day Care centre, installing new CCTV cameras in Dareton to resealing Pooncarie Road though to Menindee, since the 2019 election the Federal Government has spent an extra $15,658,468 in funding on projects and programs throughout the Wentworth Shire area.
