Member for Farrer Sussan Ley is encouraging residents across the region to participate in local memorial services and events this ANZAC Day.

“Tomorrow I’ll be attending services in Jindera, Albury and Barellan, on a day set aside for us all to remember the service and sacrifice of service personnel who have served our nation for more than a century,” Ms Ley said.

“It is also a day for communities to come together, to listen, and to pay respect to our living veterans.

“Farrer has a proud history of military service, and it is important that again this year, we stand together to remember those who have served, particularly given the disruption to services over the past two years.

“When we come together to honour our servicemen and women, we also keep the ANZAC spirit alive by showing support for those who may be suffering.”
