While a much needed drop of rain and cooler conditions has arrived with Autumn, the drought continues to impact the local economy and farm incomes.

The Federal Government is still assisting rural households with a one-off $3000 grant to anyone whose income is derived mainly from agriculture. It’s for farming families, workers, suppliers and contractors (living in most local council areas across Farrer) and is available until June 30.
